Oversight

I can’t believe I haven’t yet waxed lyrical about the Tim Minchin concert I went to last weekend. Held in King’s Park (Perth’s botanic gardens) on the evening of Saturday the 5th of March, a gorgeous night with clement weather and a sky full of stars – though I only had eyes for Tim. The backing band he rustled up in the form of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra weren’t half bad either.

Having just written a 1500 word post on Gardening, however, and getting quite hungry, I’m not sure I have a Minchin post in me. If I did, it would contain the fact that this past Saturday I went to a fancy dress birthday party dressed up as him, where at least half the people knew I was supposed to be Tim Minchin, which I think is pretty impressive. And so was my wig.

I would like to think I will write more about his edifying performance at a later point, but in case I don’t,
